CCOPAB receives the visit of the Argentina Consul

Rio de Janeiro, (RJ) - On 19 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received the visit of the Argentina Consul in Rio de Janeiro - Minister Claudio Gutierrez. The Consul was welcomed by LTC Bolzan who was the acting commander of CCOPAB at the moment.

CCOPAB sends Mobile Training Team (MTT) to Colombia

Bogota (Colombia) - From 8 to 12 October 2018, CCOPAB sent a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to Bogota to deliver a Training of Trainers Course (TOT), CPTM/teaching techniques. The activity was carried out at the Escuela de Misiones Internacionales y Acción Integral (ESMAI), headed by COL César Alberto Káran Benítez (director).

CCOPAB carries out Workshop on CPoC

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) and the Brazilian Network Research on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ) coordinated a workshop on Comprehensive Protection of Civilians (CPoC) in UN PKOs. From 09 to 11 October, CCOPAB hosted the event, gathering military authorities, civilians and university representatives, whose researches are on PKOs.

Auckland (Nova Zelândia) - From 01 to 04 October, Colonel Machado - CCOPAB Commander represented the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center in the 24th Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centers (IAPTC), in Auckland, New Zealand.

CCOPAB welcomes students from UNICURITIBA and CEFET-RJ

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 03 to 05 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed 58 students and four professors of the International Relations Course from Centro Universitário Curitiba (UNICURITIBA, acronym in Portuguese) and of Foreign Languages Applied to International Negotiations Course (LEANI, acronym in Portuguese) from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET-RJ, acronym in Portuguese).

CCOPAB welcomes military personnel from the Medical Corps taking the CCC at EsAO

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 3 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sérgio Vieira de Mello Center - received the visit of 30 officers from the medical corps (MC), taking the Army Captain Career Course (CCC) at the Advanced School for Captains (EsAO, acronym in Portuguese), as part of the army instruction cooperation program.
