Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 05 to 09 November, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) - Sérgio Vieira de Mello Center - carried out another edition of the Flagship Commander and Staff Course for the MTF - 17th Brazilian Contingent.

From 29 October to 23 November, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, offers the 3rd phase of the Military Experts on Mission Course (MEoM). The MEoM aims at preparing military and police personnel to be deployed in UN PKOs as: Staff Officers, Military Observers and UNPOL.

Nowadays, the journalist participates as a public security consultant in a TV News program, which has expressive ratings in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Montevideo (Uruguay) - From 21 to 25 October, CCOPAB participated in the 3rd Regional Workshop “Making Peace Operations More Effective”, carried out at the Uruguayan Peace Operations School (ENOPU, acronym in Spanish) and supported by the Small Arms Survey (SAS).
From 20 to 27 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, as a member of the delegation from the Peace Mission Division, Aviation and IGPM/COTER (acronyms in Portuguese) visited the military facilities in the cities of Istanbul and Ankara, in the Republic of Turkey.
