Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 23 April, students from Operational Health Course (CSOp, acronym in Portuguese) support the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center. As monitors, the students from the Brazilian Army Logistics Sergeants School (EsSLog, acronym in Portuguese) took part in the first aid instructions that were given to national and international military personnel who are taking the Military Experts on Mission Course this year at CCOPAB.

Osasco (SP) – From 31 March to 12 April, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – took part in the preparation of the 5th Humanitarian Logistics Task Force in Roraima – Bandeirantes Contingent, which will get into action at Acolhida Operation. This activity took place in the facilities of the 4th light Infantry Battalion in Osasco, São Paulo.

Lima (PER) - From 7 to 10 April, the commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part in a preparatory meeting for the 10th Latin American Association of Peacekeeping Training Centers, which took place in Lima, Peru.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 8 April, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, was visited by LTG Christian Bailly, the French Army Commander of the Operational National Theater, who was followed closely by LTG Antônio Manoel de Barros (Commander of the 1st Army Division), COL Charles Orlianges (Military Attaché from the French Air Force in Brazil) and COL Pascal Frances (an assistant from the French Commander).

Montevidéu (URU) – From 24 March to 06 April 2019, Captain Wander, from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part as an observer in the final task of the preparation of the Uruguayan Battalion for UN Stabilization Mission of Congo (MONUSCO), which took place in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 4 April, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, welcomed COL Guilhermo Altamiro, Military Attaché from Chile, accompanied by LTC Helmut Ramires, instructor at the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME, acronym in Portuguese) and CPT Alberto Francisco Elissalde Reyes, foreign instructor at CCOPAB. The aim of the visit was to have an overall view of the experience in PKOs as well as to strengthen the bonds among Brazilian and Chilean military personnel working towards Peace.
