On April 26, 2013, there was a briefing to familiarize the military personnel who will work as facilitators (OCA – Observer, Controller and Appraiser) during the Peacekeeping Operations Advanced Drill (EAOP) of BRABAT which is part of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti.
The Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) and the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO/ONU) promoted the Training of Trainers Course for Staff Officers from April 15 to 26, in the facilities of General Ernani Ayrosa Center (CGEA), in Itaipava – Petrópolis-RJ.
On April 25, the groups got together in separate rooms to continue working on the Practical Exercise on Staff Activity. In the morning, the students received missions from the UN Staff to make decisions and actions in hypothetical situations of crisis management.

On April 19, there was a parade to celebrate the 365 years of the Brazilian Army, which took place on Brigadeiro Sampaio Parade Ground, in Vila Militar.
For the parade, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) was represented by its commander, Colonel Luiz Fernando Estorilho Baganha and a fraction from this Center.
