Beginning of the Course for Military Translators and Interpreters 2013
February 04 was the starting day of the Course for Military Translators and Interpreters (acronym in Portuguese: ETIMil) at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB). After the welcoming lecture by the Commander of CCOPAB, COL Luiz Fernando Estorilho Baganha, the apprentices attended the opening class by the Counselor of the Embassy of Haiti in Brazil, Mr. Jackson Bien Aimé.

February 04, 2013 was the day of the beginning of the Course for Unit Commanders and Staff Officers for the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti. The activity started with the welcoming meeting with three officers from the Canadian Army. In that occasion, the Commander of BRABAT/18, COL ZENEDIR DA MOTA FONTOURA, said how pleased he was for hosting them and for counting on the support of that friendly nation to proceed in the noble mission of keeping a stable and safe environment in Haiti.
From January 29 to February 1, 2013, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) held a pedagogical refreshing course (acronym in Portuguese: ESTAP) for its personnel.
From 10 to 14 of December, 2012, CPT Fausto Augusto de Sousa Pontes took the Course of Borderline Security and Control at the Turkish Partnership for Peace (PfP) Training Center settled in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.
