Brazilian Army Day – 365 years
On April 19, there was a parade to celebrate the 365 years of the Brazilian Army, which took place on Brigadeiro Sampaio Parade Ground, in Vila Militar.
For the parade, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) was represented by its commander, Colonel Luiz Fernando Estorilho Baganha and a fraction from this Center.
During the celebrations, certificates for the Army Partners and badges were granted. For having being important partners to CCOPAB, the following people were awarded: Journalist Flávia Mello de Lima, Curator Patrícia Civelli and Curator Mário César Cabral Marques.
At this opportunity, the order of the day, signed by the Army Commander, General Enzo Martins Peri, was read. The ceremony was coordinated by the 1st Army Division and gathered representatives from all the unities in Vila Militar Garrison.
