CCOPAB receives university students from PUC-Rio

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 5 June, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – received professor Ricardo Oliveira and 18 students from the graduation course as well as students from Professional Master's Degree in International Relations, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.

CCOPAB delivers lecture for the UK Advanced Command and General Staff Course

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From May 27 to 31, the Advanced Command and General Staff Course (ACSC, acronym in Portuguese) of the United Kingdom carried out a study visit to Brazil. Among ACSC members, there are military officers, civil servants and diplomats from various nations and cultures. In this context, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, was invited to deliver a lecture on CCOPAB's experiences.

CCOPAB takes part in the Civil Protection Course in Argentina

Buenos Aires (ARG) - From May 19 to 25, the Civilian Protection Course (POC, acronym in Portuguese) was carried out in the facilities of the Argentinian Center of Joint Training for Peace Operations (CAECOPAZ, acronym in Portuguese). In this activity, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - was represented by LT COL Rogério Oliveira Bolzan, chief of the Planning and Coordination Division.

On this important date, a tribute to military personnel, police officers and civilians who, under the flag of the United Nations, fulfilled the noble task of keeping the world peace.

CCOPAB assists in the preparation of jungle war instructors to be deployed to Congo

Rio de Janeiro, RJ - From May 20 to 24, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, carried out the Military Experts on Mission Course (IPMP-2019/2, acronym in Portuguese). This activity aimed to prepare the selected military personnel according to the training standards established for the UN blue helmets. For this, the pre-deployment material was approached and a practical exercise was performed after the completion of the theoretical instructions. At the end of the instructions, there was a sharing of experiences with military personnel who recently returned from the mission.
