CCOPAB takes part in the Civil Protection Course in Argentina
Buenos Aires (ARG) - From May 19 to 25, the Civilian Protection Course (POC, acronym in Portuguese) was carried out in the facilities of the Argentinian Center of Joint Training for Peace Operations (CAECOPAZ, acronym in Portuguese). In this activity, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - was represented by LT COL Rogério Oliveira Bolzan, chief of the Planning and Coordination Division
The course provided participants with practical guidance on risk factors related to mass atrocity crimes, as well as operational and tactical strategies to identify, analyze, address and monitor threats. In this way, it enabled the participants to respond satisfactorily at the strategic and tactical level, integrating a UN Peacekeeping Force with a Civil Protection mandate (POC, acronym in Portuguese).
