CCOPAB delivers lecture for the UK Advanced Command and General Staff Course

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From May 27 to 31, the Advanced Command and General Staff Course (ACSC, acronym in Portuguese) of the United Kingdom carried out a study visit to Brazil. Among ACSC members, there are military officers, civil servants and diplomats from various nations and cultures. In this context, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, was invited to deliver a lecture on CCOPAB's experiences.

LT COL Carlos Alberto M. Cavalcanti, CCOPAB's Doctrine Advisor, represented CCOPAB. He delivered a lecture on: “OS DESAFIOS NO PREPARO PARA OPERAÇÕES DE PAZ DA ONU: A PERSPECTIVA DO CENTRO CONJUNTO DE OPERAÇÕES DE PAZ DO BRASIL (CCOPAB)”.

At the end of the event, formal acknowledgements and the exchange of institutional memories between the CCOPAB and the British delegation were made.
