CCOPAB receives university students from PUC-Rio
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 5 June, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – received professor Ricardo Oliveira and 18 students from the graduation course as well as students from Professional Master's Degree in International Relations, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
The visit was an opportunity to strengthen relations with the academic world and to show the university students, through simulations and practical instructions, some of the peace operations and the role of the CCOPAB in preparing Brazilians and foreign peacekeepers.
Among the activities, the students attended an institutional lecture, participated in a Mediation and Negotiation workshop. At the end, all students were awarded a certificate of participation.
