Bogota, Colombia – On June 10, the Mobile Training Team (MTT) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) started the United Nations Military Observers Course in Colombia.
Bogota, Colombia – The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) has deployed another Mobile Training Team (MTT) in Colombia. Its mission is to prepare Human Resources in the Area of Peace Operations by carrying out a United Nations Military Observers Course from 10 to 23 of June.
On 02 June, CCOPAB was visited by the Senegalese entourage of Staff of Armed Forces, headed by General MAMADOU SOW. The Defense Attaché of Senegal in Brazil, Colonel BAMBA DIAO, came along with the entourage.
On 30 May, there was a ceremony for the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The date, which is 29 May, is to pay tribute to all men and women, who served or still serve, in peace operations for their high level of professionalism, dedication and courage.
On 25 May, CCOPAB certified the military personnel who concluded the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese), which took place from 2 to 25 May. The students of the course were officers from the Brazilian Navy, Brazilian Army, Brazilian Air Force and Colombian Army who will be deployed to UN peace missions as Staff officers and Military Observers.
On 17 May, Major General JUAN JOSE GOMEZ RUIZ, Chief of Planning of Staff, and his entourage from the Mexican Secretariat of National Defense visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The Naval attaché of Mexico in Brazil, Rear Admiral MIGUEL FRANCISCO MONROY MENDEZ, joined the entourage as well.
