On 10 May 2016, a group of professors from Estácio de Sá University and University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) visited CCOPAB aiming to integrate the researchers of Peace Operations. Thus, the Brazilian Network of Research on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ, acronym in Portuguese) was created in partnership with Estácio de Sá University and other institutions.
On 10 May 2016, 73 students of IME (Military Institute of Engineering) visited CCOPAB. They were presented the lecture: "The participation of Brazil in Peace Operations", emphasizing the participation of the military engineers. The students had the opportunity to see the main activities carried out in CCOPAB during the visit.
On 09 May 2016, the Honourable Maria Luisa Escorel de Moraes, delivered the lecture: "Political Condition for the Brazilian Participation in United Nations Peacekeeping Operations" to the students of the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese). She is the director of the International Bodies Affairs from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On 05 May 2016, an event to celebrate Marshal Rondon's birthday took place in Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility. He is the patron of the military branch of Signals of the Brazilian Army.
Aquidauana (MS) - On 06 May, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the After Action Review (AAR) of the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP). This EAOP was developed for the Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY) that will compose the 24th Brazilian Contingent for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH). The AAR aims to spread the opportunities of improvement and stress the best practices of the Engineering Platoon and the Staff level.
Aquidauana (MS) - The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) started the incidents that are part of the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP) of the 24th Contingent of the Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY) on 02 May.
