CCOPAB organizes seminar on Peace Missions preparation

On June 15, there was a ceremony to celebrate CCOPAB's date of creation - 15 June 2010.
The ceremony, headed by Colonel Mario Fernandes, 1st Army Division's Chief of Staff, had the presence of Commanders from the Army Military Organizations, of the Commander of the 9th Batallion of Military Police (BPM, acronym in Portuguese), of the Deputy Commander of the 14th BPM and of relatives and friends of the soldiers who are this year's conscripts.
On June 16, CCOPAB was visited by a delegation from the Mexican War College, which was composed of 110 military personnel and headed by Major General ARTURO GONZÁLEZ GARCÍA, the College's director.
On June 14, during the Seminar "Assessment Methodology and Certification of Training for Peace Missions", carried out at CCOPAB, Colonel José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, former CCOPAB Commander, accompanied by the present Commander, Colonel Carlos Augusto Ramires Teixeira, handed Dr. Adriana Abdenur, Igarapé Institute's representative, an invitation from ALCOPAZ (Latin American Association of Peacekeeping Operations Training Centers) to participate in its General Assembly.
On June 17, the Mobile Training Team (MTT) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) ended the second week of the United Nations Military Observer Course by delivering instructions on Radio Communications, Land Navigation, WVE (Weapon, Vehicle and Equipment) Recognition and Driving Skills from the Specialized Training Material (STM) for UN Military Observers.
On June 15, the Mobile Training Team (MTT) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) ended the first phase of the United Nations Military Observer Course by carrying out an exam on the Core Pre-Deployment Training Material (CPTM).
