From August 7 to 11, a Mobile Training Team from CCOPAB, composed of one military person from the Brazilian Navy and three from the Brazilian Army, is giving instructions about the UN doctrine on Frigate 'Liberal'. The vessel is on its way to Lebanon, to join the MTF (Maritime Task Force) of UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon).
On 19 July, officers of the Division of Translators and Interpreters (DTI) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated in the II Seminar of the Brazilian Army Foreign Language Teachers in the Army Languages Center (CIDEx, acronym in Portuguese).
From July 18 to 29, 2016, the crew of the Frigate 'Liberal' was given the Pre-deployment Basic and Advanced Field Exercises (EBOP/EAOP, acronyms in Portuguese). This crew will take over the Mission of the Flagship of the UNIFIL Maritime Task Force (MTF-UNIFIL) in September, replacing the Frigate 'Independência'.
Rio de Janeiro – From 4 to 8 July, the Media Advisor and Journalist in Conflict Areas Course is being carried out in the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The students are 34 (thirty-four) members of the press from the entire country.
