The Mexican Secretariat of National Defense Delegation visits CCOPAB
On 17 May, Major General JUAN JOSE GOMEZ RUIZ, Chief of Planning of Staff, and his entourage from the Mexican Secretariat of National Defense visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The Naval attaché of Mexico in Brazil, Rear Admiral MIGUEL FRANCISCO MONROY MENDEZ, joined the entourage as well.
The aim of the visit was to let the entourage know the activities carried out in CCOPAB, as Mexico has shown interest in strengthening partnerships with Brazil. The main concern is the military teaching area, especially preparing, assessing and certifying military personnel to be deployed to UN peacekeeping operations.
