CCOPAB welcomes General Vergara, Director of Military Technical Education

Rio de Janeiro (RJ). On 30 April 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, an educational military organization of the Brazilian Army, supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese), welcomed Major General Rodrigo Pereira VERGARA, DETMIL Director. The aim of the activity was to carry out the last official visit of MG Vergara to CCOPAB.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 19 to 30 April, along with the UNSO, UNMO and UNPOL courses, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, an educational military organization of the Brazilian Army, under the supervison of the Department of Military Technical Education, delivered the second edition of the Comprehensive Protection of Civilians Course/CPoC, aiming at training military and police personnel to hold positions regarding POC in UN PKOs.

Sapucaia do Sul (RS). From 22 to 25 November, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - sent a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to the Garrison of Sapucaia do Sul (RS), in order to contribute towards the preparation of the 11th Contingent of the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (ACOLHIDA Operation).
