On 25 May 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, a Brazilian Army Educational Organization supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL), welcomed, for the first time ever, Major General Flávio dos Santos LAJOIA Garcia, Chief of Peace Missions/Aviation and State Police General Inspector, from the Land Operations Command (COTER).

Porto Alegre (RS) - From 17 to 21 May 2021, the Mobile Training Team (MTT) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, a Brazilian Army Educational Organization supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education, carried out the UN Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC), contributing towards the training of troops from the 4 Engineering Group, in the Southern Military Command.
Apucarana (PR) and Uberlandia (MG) - From 26 to 30 April and from 10 to 14 May 2021, as per the Directive from the Land Operations Command (COTER, acronym in Portuguese), the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center- Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, a Brazilian Army Educational Organization supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education took part in the UN Pre-Deployment Basic Field Exercise (EBOP), Coy level, in the garrisons of Apucarana (30 Mec Inf Bn) and Uberlandia (36 Mec Inf Bn), respectively.

The activity, fully practiced in English, was held at Gericinó Training Field.
