On 30 August 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - a Brazilian Army Educational Organization, supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese) - welcomed, for the first time ever, Major General José Oiticica Moreira - the 2nd Technical Deputy-Director of the Brazilian Army Directorate of Health Affairs.

Rio de Janeiro, RJ - From 09 to 13 August 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, a Brazilian Army Educational Organization, carried out the Hostile Environment Awareness Training for Civilians (HEAT 2021), whose aim is to train the civilian component either working or which will work in unstable environments. The activity primarily meant to provide students with basic notions on individual protection and security.
