Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 13 March 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed a delegation from the United States Army Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute (U.S. Army PKSOI), composed of Colonel FLOYD S. LIDDICK, Director of PKSOI; Colonel JONATHAN T. DRAKE, Chief of PKSOI Peace Mission Division; and Colonel LAUTIER BARBOSA DE AZEVEDO, a Brazilian soldier who works as a Peace Operations Analyst at PKSOI. The objective of the visit was to get to know the facilities and the main activities carried out by CCOPAB.

(United States of America) – From 8 to 10 March 2023, Lieutenant Colonel (Brazilian Air Force) LUANDA DOS SANTOS BASTOS, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated in the Workshop “Women, Peace and Security”, held at the Inter-American Defense College, which aimed to promote an inclusive approach to Women's participation and leadership in Peace and Security, in the Western Hemisphere.

AMILTON FERNANDO BARBOSA MOLETA, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a speaker, in the online seminar “Brazilian Perspectives for the Peace Operations Agenda”, coordinated by the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the institution.

It is an activity, coordinated by the 1st Army Division, involving all military organizations in the Vila Militar garrison, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 08 March 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) celebrated the International Women’s Day, in a ceremony held at the Hall of former commanders of the Center, with the presence of female military personnel and female civilians.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 1 March 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) held the ceremony of new privates conscription in the Brazilian Army. Thirty-two young men will complete their Compulsory Military Service at this Joint Center.
