2023 Official Ceremony of new privates conscription

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 1 March 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) held the ceremony of new privates conscription in the Brazilian Army. Thirty-two young men will complete their Compulsory Military Service at this Joint Center.

The beginning of the ceremony was marked by the solemn opening of the Gate of CCOPAB, followed by the symbolic entry of new recruits into the military organization.

At the end of the first part of the ceremony, CCOPAB Commander welcomed the family members of the recruits and so delivered a presentation on Compulsory Military Service (CMS), future opportunities and the importance of family support during this new phase.

The second part of the event was crowned by having the incorporated recruits put on their military uniforms. It was a moment that highlighted the pride and satisfaction of family members who could see, for the first time, the new soldiers wearing the Brazilian Army combat uniform.
