CCOPAB takes part in a Seminar to celebrate the seventh anniversary of REBRAPAZ

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 9 March 2023, Colonel (Ret.) AMILTON FERNANDO BARBOSA MOLETA, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a speaker, in the online seminar “Brazilian Perspectives for the Peace Operations Agenda”, coordinated by the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the institution.

On the occasion of his lecture, Colonel MOLETA presented CCOPAB's participation in training military, police and civilians, from Brazil and friendly nations, for peace operations and humanitarian demining missions, since the creation of the then Brazilian Peacekeeping Training Center (CIOpPaz), on March 1, 2005.

CCOPAB has been a full member of REBRAPAZ since 2016.Since then, the Research Network is under the coordination of Dr. EDUARDA HAMANN, who has been researching and teaching PKO subjects for over 20 years.
