Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 13 February 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) started the Level II Pedagogical Brush-up Course (ESTAP, acronym in Portuguese), to update instructors, monitors and other military personnel who is involved with the teaching-learning processes conducted by CCOPAB.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 06 to 10 February 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the administrative mobilization of Lieutenant General OTÁVIO RODRIGUES DE MIRANDA FILHO - the future Force Commander of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) - and his support team of six Army soldiers.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 30 January 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) began the complementary selection of future soldiers who enlisted for the Compulsory Military Service in the year 2023. One hundred and six young men volunteered for the selection process.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 12 January 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) held a ceremony in honor of the Brazilians who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake of 12 January 2010, in Port-au-Prince, capital of Haiti, while they were deployed to the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 26 December 2022, Brazil Communication Company (EBC, acronym in Portuguese), by means of the public television network TV Brasil, premiered the second episode of the TV documentary “Soldiers of Caxias”, which presented the performance of the Brazilian troops in several peace missions around the world, with emphasis on the “Brazilian Way of Peacekeeping” as well as the training of military and civilians at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).
Lima (Peru) – From 05 to 16 December 2022, Major Rodrigo BERBERT Eiras, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated as a student in the UN Training of Trainers Course (UN ToT) for National Investigation Officers (NIO), coordinated by the United Nations Integrated Training Service (ITS) with support from the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) of the US Government.
