Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 3 to 14 October 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out the United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UN PoC), held entirely in English, with the participation of 54 future Blue Helmets, among Brazilian and foreign military personnel from 6 countries, in addition to state police personnel from 4 different Brazilian states.
Bogota (Colombia) - From 3 to 7 October 2022, two instructors and a monitor from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out a doctrinal update visit on Mine Action, in the Republic of Colombia, in compliance with the Plan of Visits and other Activities in Friendly Nations (PVANA, acronym in Portuguese).
Melbourne (Australia) - From 26 September to 07 October 2022, Captain Thiago Brandão WUNDERLICH, instructor of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), participated in the UN Training of Trainers Course (UN ToT) for National Investigation Officers (NIO) Course, that was held in the Peace Operations Training Centre (POTC).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 04 October 2022, The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) hosted an interministerial delegation responsible for tracking the pledges made by Brazil during the Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference in 2021. Among Brazil’s pledges, two of them are related to the allocation of vacancies to foreign military personnel, for the Mine Action Course (EACM, acronym in Portuguese) and the United Nations Protection of Civilian Course (UN PoC), both carried out by CCOPAB.
