Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 05 September to 11 November 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the UNSO, UNMO and UNPOL courses, edition 2022.2, training forty-nine future blue helmets from Brazil and from a friendly nation. The Brazilian students were from the three National Armed Forces, in addition to some from the State Police Departments of Bahia, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo. Furthermore, the only foreign student of the course came from Germany.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 09 and 10 November 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) took part in the V Research Seminar and the VI Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network ( REBRAPAZ). The events, organized by the Study and Research Group on International Security (GEPSI, acronym in Portuguese), of the University of Brasília (UNB), were held on line.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 09 November 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received a visit from a delegation composed of instructors and students of the Command and General Staff Course (CCEM, acronym in Spanish) of the Guatemalan Army Higher Education Command (COSEDE, acronym in Spanish).
Gazipur (Bangladesh) – De 31 de outubro a 4 de novembro de 2022, o Coronel VAZ, Comandante do Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB), participou da 26ª Conferência Anual da Associação Internacional dos Centros de Treinamento para Operações de Paz (IAPTC, sigla em inglês), que ocorreu no Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT), tendo como tema central o impacto das novas tecnologias nas missões de paz (“Peace Operations in the Digital Era – Opportunities and Challenges for the Global Training Community”).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 28 October 2022, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), and Dr. EDUARDA HAMMAN, General Coordinator of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), gave lectures, on UN related topics as well as on Peace Operations, to students of the Brazilian Army Strategic Studies International Course (BASSIC), at the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME, acronym in Portuguese).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 28 October 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Colonel BJORN TAUBE, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brazil, with the aim of get to know the activities of the UNSO, UNMO and UNPOL courses (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese), whose edition has the participation of a German instructor and a German student.
