CCOPAB welcomes the German Defense Attaché
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 28 October 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Colonel BJORN TAUBE, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brazil, with the aim of get to know the activities of the UNSO, UNMO and UNPOL courses (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese), whose edition has the participation of a German instructor and a German student.
During the visit, the entourage had the opportunity to know the activities carried out by CCOPAB, when it comes to the preparation of military, police and civilian personnel, from Brazil and friendly nations, designated to peace missions and humanitarian demining missions; in addition to the training of contingents for the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (Operation ACOLHIDA) as well as the preparation of troops for the United Nations Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (UNPCRS).
After visiting CCOPAB educational facilities, the German Defense Attaché signed the Book of Honour of CCOPAB.
