CCOPAB and REBRAPAZ deliver a lecture for the Brazilian Army Strategic Studies International Course at ECEME
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 28 October 2022, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), and Dr. EDUARDA HAMMAN, General Coordinator of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ), gave lectures, on UN related topics as well as on Peace Operations, to students of the Brazilian Army Strategic Studies International Course (BASSIC), at the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME, acronym in Portuguese).
On that occasion, BASSIC students were able to discuss the historical and conceptual aspects of the Brazilian participation in Peace Operations, as well as learn about the challenges of ongoing missions and current UN agendas on the subject.
The audience was made up of nine officers from Friendly Nations - Egypt, Guatemala, Guyana, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates - and officers from the Brazilian Army.
