This year, 243 participants attended the Conference, including military, police and civilian personnel, from 52 countries, representing several training centers, regional associations, UN agencies and educational and research institutions. The presence of Lieutenant General BIRAME DIOP, Head of the Office of Military Affairs (Military Adviser), of the UN Department of Peace Operations, deserves special mention.

On the occasion, the Commander of CCOPAB delivered a presentation to the Conference Plenary Session about “The lessons learned due to the participation of Brazil in the VIKING Exercise 22”. CCOPAB Commander was the only representative of Latin American Training Centers to address the Plenary of IAPTC. It should be highlighted that the presentation included lessons arising from the participation of the civilian component in VIKING 22, compiled by Dr. EDUARDA HAMMAN, General Coordinator of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ).
