VILA MILITAR, RJ - Last Friday, October 17th, the 2014 second edition of UN Staff Officers, UN MILOBs and UN Police Officers courses (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese), totaling 33 military personnel as students, came to an end.
On October 9th, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received the visit of the Chief of the Brazilian Army Staff (EME, acronym in Portuguese), General Adhemar da Costa Machado Filho, accompanied by the 1st Army Division Commander, Lieutenant General Luiz Eduardo Ramos Baptista Pereira and the Chief of Strategical Policies of the Army Staff, Lieutenant General Walmir Almada Schneider Filho.
On 03 October 2014, CCOPAB carried out a parade to: award two officers with the 20-year service medal, have three recently promoted officers swear an oath, and also give a farewell to the military personnel that is integrating the 21st Brazilian Contingent in MINUSTAH, UNIFIL Contingent or as MILOBs in several other missions.
During the preparation phase for the beginning of the Pre-deployment Field Exercise of the 21st Contingent of the Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT-21), a group of 11 military personnel from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) makes the 2nd reconnaissance in Santa Maria, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul from September 29 to October 3.
During the week from September 22 to 26 of 2014, Captains Christiane Lima, Ana Cardoso and Israel, instructors, translators and interpreters of the Translators and Interpreters Division (DTI, acronym in Portuguese) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), took part in the I International Symposium on Translation - (SIT, acronym in Portuguese) and XXXIV Translator's Week of the São Paulo State University - UNESP (acronym in Portuguese), in São José do Rio Preto Campus, São Paulo.
