War College delegation visits CCOPAB
On September 8th, CCOPAB received the visit of 73 students of the Course on International Political and Strategic Studies (CAEPE, acronym in Portuguese), from the War College, aiming to know the preparation of contingents and individual missions for UN peace missions.
The commander of the Center, Colonel José Ricardo Vendramim Nunes, delivered an institutional lecture presenting the historical background of Peace Operations throughout the world, highlighting the participation of Brazil and the internal empowering process which resulted in the creation of CCOPAB. Next, the Commander presented CCOPAB's mission and organizational structure, the strength of each Armed Force in the Center, a brief view of the courses offered as well as future expectations for this military unit. Right after that, the delegation visited Sérgio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility and the simulator.
