Military Personnel will be on the streets of Santa Maria to simulate situations before boarding to Haiti
Military personnel of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), located in Rio de Janeiro, met this Thursday (Sept 11), in the Alpha Auditorium of the 6th Armored Infantry Brigade, with several municipal, state and of public security organizations of Santa Maria - RS. The purpose of the meeting was to invite them to actively participate in the preparation phase of the 21st Brazilian Contingent to be sent to the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).
During the meeting, the military personnel explained the training mechanisms that will be carried out between October 26 and 31 in Santa Maria where the Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP) will take place. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about the cooperation during the training of the 21st Contingent and to congregate all the institutions to support the military personnel who are in the preparation of this mission, and to collaborate with several public locations that will be part of the simulated exercises that the 21st Contingent may find in Haiti.
