The Translator's Week is a get-together of scientific nature, carried out since 1980, that gathers researchers, professionals and students of translation, in order to intensify the dialogue and exchange of experience among all those who dedicate themselves to the translation studies. This year, an international dimension to dialogue was given since there was the simultaneous happening of the Week with the I International Symposium of Translation (SIT), which gathered researchers and practitioners in this area from different parts of the world. DTI made itself present by talking about: "The Myth of the Military Barracks - what we thought was weird and the others did not even notice" whose theme addressed subtitling in the military/warlike area, the perspectives of glossary construction and the use of specific terms in the translation and interpretation processes during peace peace operations.
