Representative of US Department of State, Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues, visits CCOPAB
Ms. Cary Morrow - Representative of the US Department of State Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues and Mr. John Callan - Vice Consul for Political Issues visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) on the afternoon of April 4th. They were welcomed by the commander of the Joint Center - Col José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes as well as by other staff officers.
On April 4, more than 100 officer students of the Mexican War College, together with Major General Arturo Gonzales García, visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).
In the afternoon of April 3, Experts on Missions from the US Army, a delegation of ten American Army Officers, visited CCOPAB. They were welcomed by CCOPAB Commander, Colonel Jose Ricardo Vendramin Nunes.
On April 1 and 3, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) honored an Instruction Cooperation Request (PCI) from the Air Force Officers Advanced School (EAOAR). At this time, more than 100 student officers were welcomed by CCOPAB Commander, Colonel Jose Ricardo Vendramin Nunes. Col Vendramin presented CCOPAB's mission and organizational structure, a brief view of the courses offered by the center as well as future expectations.
Four Canadian military officers participated in the Course for Unit Commanders and Joint Staff (EPCOEM) at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). The course lasted a week, from 24 to 28 March, and they had several instructions which included CPTM (Core Pre-deployment Training Material) and Haiti's culture. These officers
