Representative of US Department of State, Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues, visits CCOPAB

IMG 0369Ms. Cary Morrow - Representative of the US Department of State Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues and Mr. John Callan - Vice Consul for Political Issues visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) on the afternoon of April 4th. They were welcomed by the commander of the Joint Center - Col José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes as well as by other staff officers.

IMG 5360On April 1 and 3, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) honored an Instruction Cooperation Request (PCI) from the Air Force Officers Advanced School (EAOAR). At this time, more than 100 student officers were welcomed by CCOPAB Commander, Colonel Jose Ricardo Vendramin Nunes. Col Vendramin presented CCOPAB's mission and organizational structure, a brief view of the courses offered by the center as well as future expectations.

CCOPAB Deputy Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Fábio Augusto Grineberg Domingues, presented CCOPAB's mission and organizational structure, the strength of each Armed Force in the Center, a brief view of the courses offered by the center as well as future expectations. Afterwards, the German officer visited the center's facilities.
