Chief of International Affairs of the Army General Staff visits CCOPAB

General JoarezOn June 11, 2014, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received Major General Joarez Alves Pereira Junior, Chief of International Affairs of the Army General Staff.
MG Joarez's objective was to know CCOPAB's structure better, having a closer view of its possibilities and necessities in the accomplishment of its mission.

IMG 7720In the morning of June 10, continuing the celebrations related to its 4th Anniversary of Creation, the Brazilian Peace Operation Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out a seminar on: "Protection of Civilians in UN Peacekeeping Operations". Different representatives of the society, besides CCOPAB and other units' military personnel, were present at the event.

IMG 7633In the morning of June 9, having the presence of Major General Henrique Martins Nolasco Sobrinho, commander of School Support Group/9th Motorized Infantry Brigade, and of several other unit commanders of Vila Militar, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), carried out the ceremony of its 4th Anniversary of Creation.

End of Course at CCOPAB

IMG 6582VILA MILITAR, RJ - On May 30, another edition of UN MilObs/Staff Officer/ Police Officer Courses (EPMP) came to an end with a ceremony to deliver the certificates. The course lasted for ten weeks, from which the last four were carried out at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) and given in the English language, since knowing this language is a fundamental requirement for the ones participating in this kind of UN mission.

entrega boina 2014 05VILA MILITAR, RJ – In the morning of May 16, 2014, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) delivered the berets to the soldiers of 2014.
Their families were present at the ceremony in which they ended another cycle in their military formation.
Mr. Jonas Farias de Souza, Private Farias' father, expressed the happiness to see his son serving the Army, especially at CCOPAB: "It's gratifying to know that my son is in good hands. I fully trust the Army and know that he will mature and become a more responsible citizen. Knowing what CCOPAB means to Brazil, makes us even happier".
