Representative of US Department of State, Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues, visits CCOPAB
Ms. Cary Morrow - Representative of the US Department of State Secretary's Office of Global Women's Issues and Mr. John Callan - Vice Consul for Political Issues visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) on the afternoon of April 4th. They were welcomed by the commander of the Joint Center - Col José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes as well as by other staff officers.
Col Vendramin delivered an institutional presentation about the structure and routine of the Joint Center, and then guided a debate on the participation of Brazil in Peace Operations in the Hall of former Commanders. Next, Ms. Cary Morrow signed CCOPAB's Book of Honor and visited Sérgio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility.
