From the beginning of this week, members of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) carried out the reconnaissance in the city of Cuiabá/MT aiming at the training of the Advanced Pre-Deployment Drill (EAOP) which will take place from April 29 to May 03, 2013.
On the 2nd day of the CIMIC Course, the following subjects were addressed: "The performance of G9 BRABAT/MINUSTAH (CIMIC Cell)" given by LTC Alves da Costa from the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME) and "Communication and Expression", by Journalist Flávia Mello.
On March 12, the CIMIC Course had its opening day. The students were welcomed by CCOPAB Deputy Commander Lieutenant Colonel SALOMÃO TAVARES DA SILVA who gave a lecture.
From March 04 to 07, 2013, the Peacekeeping Operations Division of the Ground Operations Command carried out the Course on Logistics in PKO. Major Sérgio Mattos and Captain Rafael Farias represented CCOPAB in this activity.
