New Soldiers’ Joining Ceremony
The joining ceremony of the 2013 new recruits was held on March 4. Thirty-one new soldiers from Rio de Janeiro and its surroundings will perform the compulsory military service. The Commander of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center addressed to the soldiers and their families, emphasizing the importance of joining the Brazilian Army and the noble mission which they carry out from now on.
After the ceremony, the guests were invited to visit the Alpha Omega Room where the Shooting Simulator is located and the New Horizon Room, where there was the cocktail service for the soldiers' families.
