On September 26, the Land Operations Commander, General Vilela, the Chilean Army Land Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Daniel Arancibia Clavel, 1st Army Division Commander, Lieutenant General Abreu and a delegation visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). At the opportunity, CCOPAB Commander, Colonel Baganha, and the Chiefs of Divisions welcomed the generals.
On September 25, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) hosted 24 students all of whom officers from Friendly Nations taking the Captains' Advanced Course at the Brazilian Captains' Advanced School (EsAO). On that day, those students were hosted by CCOPAB's commander Colonel Baganha, who presented the Center's mission, developed work, given courses and the participation of Brazilian military personnel in peacekeeping missions nowadays. After that, they visited the Training System for the Use of Legal Force at the facilities of the Combat Simulator.
In answer to the Request of Instruction Cooperation by the Brazilian Air Force Captains' Advanced School (EAOAR), Captain De Souza, a Brazilian Air Force officer serving at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB), hosted on September 24 more than 100 officers taking the course at that Air Force school. Captain De Souza made a presentation regarding the Center's mission, the work developed and the courses given at CCOPAB and the participation of Brazilian military personnel in peacekeeping missions nowadays.
"Operação Felino 2013" has been held from 16 to 27 of September in the city of Itaoca, State of Espírito Santo, and counts on the participation of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) by the representation of Lieutenant Commander (Marines) Werner, who has acted in the exercise as the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), and Captain Flávio Henrique, who has acted at the CIMIC (Civil Military Coordination) cell of the Task Force.
On September 23, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center started off the Course for Military Experts on Mission, Staff Officers and UNPOL (EPMP). The aim of EPMP is to enable the military and police personnel to perform functions as Staff Officers, Military Observers and United Nations Police (UNPOL)
On September 23, Captain (Navy) Jorge Cisneiros, Argentine Defense Attaché, visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). Colonel Baganha, CCOPAB Commander welcomed the attaché and gave an institutional presentation about the Center. Afterwards, the attaché visited the Combat Simulator (Training System of the Legal Use of Force).
