Military personnel from EAOAR visit CCOPAB

Visita EAOAR 6In answer to the Request of Instruction Cooperation by the Brazilian Air Force Captains' Advanced School (EAOAR), Captain De Souza, a Brazilian Air Force officer serving at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB), hosted on September 24 more than 100 officers taking the course at that Air Force school. Captain De Souza made a presentation regarding the Center's mission, the work developed and the courses given at CCOPAB and the participation of Brazilian military personnel in peacekeeping missions nowadays.

CCOPAB participates in “Operação Felino 2013”

op felino1"Operação Felino 2013" has been held from 16 to 27 of September in the city of Itaoca, State of Espírito Santo, and counts on the participation of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) by the representation of Lieutenant Commander (Marines) Werner, who has acted in the exercise as the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), and Captain Flávio Henrique, who has acted at the CIMIC (Civil Military Coordination) cell of the Task Force.

Argentine Defense Attaché visits CCOPAB

Visita adido Argentina set13 01On September 23, Captain (Navy) Jorge Cisneiros, Argentine Defense Attaché, visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). Colonel Baganha, CCOPAB Commander welcomed the attaché and gave an institutional presentation about the Center. Afterwards, the attaché visited the Combat Simulator (Training System of the Legal Use of Force).

On September 20 and 21, Captain Luiz Lima gave the mini course United Nations Peacekeeping Operations and the present Brazilian participation.
