The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) started the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese) of the 20th Contingent of the Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY), in Natal-RN.
MARABÁ, PA – On April 28, the Pre-Deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP) started in Marabá – PA, headquarters to the 23rd Jungle Infantry Brigade.
This activity is coordinated by the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) and characterizes the end of the training period of the 20th Brazilian Contingent of the Peacekeeping Force Infantry Battalion (BRABAT-20). The troop will be part of the UN Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (MINUSTAH, acronym in French - Mission des Nations Unies pour la Stabilisation en Haïti).
In the afternoon of April 24, Colonel Simon from the British Armed Forces visited the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). He was welcomed by Lieutenant Colonel Fábio Augusto Grineberg Domingues, CCOPAB Deputy Commander, who made a presentation on CCOPAB's mission, its organizational structure, a brief view of the courses offered by the center as well as future expectations.
