CCOPAB wins the 1st Army Division context regarding Christmas lighting

cantata 01In the night of December 19, the 1st Army Division held at its outdoor stairs the celebration for Christmas within the garrison of Vila Militar. It was a cultural activity for those military personnel and their families who live in the garrison as well as for the civilians from the surrounding neighborhoods, as it showed the results of the context regarding Christmas lighting simultaneously with the presentations of choirs highlighting the Christmas spirit.

CCOPAB holds a seminar on Lessons Learned

seminario1On December 4 and 5, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) held in its facilities the 2013's Seminar on Lessons Learned. The event counted only on the participation of officers and non-commissioned officers serving at the Center.

End of the course on Logistics and reimbursement in PKOs

estglog1On the last 29 November, CCOPAB carried out the closing ceremony of the first edition of the course on Logistics and Reimbursement in PKOs. Thirty-three military personnel completed the course – 06 from the Brazilian Navy, 25 from the Brazilian Army, and 02 from the Brazilian Air Force; all of them working at Sector Military Units in charge of logistics of the Brazilian Armed Forces.

CCOPAB Instructor takes part in a course at ENOPU

SAM 0885Since November 4, Major Herbert, instructor of the Contingent Section of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB), has been taking part in the Pre-Deployment Military Experts on Mission Course at Escuela Nacional de Operaciones de Paz del Uruguay (ENOPU – the Peacekeeping Operations Center in Uruguay).

CCOPAB carries out the UN Logistics Course and receives UN Certificate

3 From November 18 to 29, the UN Logistics and Reimbursement in PKO Course will take place at and be coordinated by the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). The opening of the course was performed by Lieutenant General Paulo Sérgio de Melo Carvalho – Under Chief of the Operational Logistics of the Ministry of Defense.
