On August 4, a delegation from the Brazilian War College visited CCOPAB. The objective of the visit was to identify the main aspects related to planning and execution of Peace Operations and the deployment of the Armed Forces in this type of operation.
Itaipava (RJ) – The 6th India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) Joint Working Group, international event coordinated by the Ministry of Defense, took place from July 22 to 26. On July 22, the opening was carried out by the Under Chief of Operational Logistics of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General ÁLVARO GONÇALVES WANDERLEY. Two officers from India, eight from South Africa and eleven from Brazil were present at the workshop.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – The 2014 Course for Journalists in Conflict Areas ended in the afternoon of July 18, after five intense days of instructions during the day and at night.
The first Journalist in Conflict Areas Course in 2014 started this Monday afternoon at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Course (CCOPAB). The opening of the course was held by Major General Otávio Santana do Rêgo Barros who spoke to an audience of 30 journalists from different types of media from several regions of Brazil.
