Santa Maria (RS) - From June 23 to 28, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - participated in the preparation of the 6th contingent of the Humanitarian Logistics Task Force - Reinforced Contingent, which will act at Acolhida Operation.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From June 26 to 27, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, the Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, in partnership with the other members of the Brazilian Research Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ, acronym in Portuguese), hosted the III Annual Meeting of REBRAPAZ on "ACTION FOR PEACEKEEPING - A4P".
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From June 10 to 14, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, carried out the Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC, acronym in Portuguese). The objective of this activity was the dissemination of necessary knowledge for the performance of functions related to Civil Affairs activities, in the context of a UN Peace Operation.
Boa Vista (RR) - From June 3 to 6, the Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – , followed by two officers from the Education and Training Division, visited the 5th Contingent of the Humanitarian Logistic Task Force - Bandeirantes Contingent, in Boa Vista, Roraima.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 5 June, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – received professor Ricardo Oliveira and 18 students from the graduation course as well as students from Professional Master's Degree in International Relations, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
