Rio de Janeiro, RJ. On 27 February 2020, by means of an Instruction Request, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - delivered a lecture for students of the Command and General Staff College of the Air Force (ECEMAAR, acronym in Portuguese).
Itaipava (RJ). From 02 to 05 March 2020, the Army Department of Education and Culture (DECEX, acronym in Portuguese) carried out Itaipava Meeting XII, counting on the presence of directors, chiefs and commanders from military organizations under the Army System of Education and Culture (SECEX, acronym in Portuguese) in order to discuss topics related to Education, Culture, Physical Education, Sports, Research and Military Management.
Kingston, (Canadá). From 27 January to 14 February, CPT (Armor) Guilherme Henrique de Souza, from the Division of Education and Training of CCOPAB, took part as an instructor of the CIMIC Staff Officers Course carried out in the Peace Support Training Center (PSTC) in Kingston, Canada.
Rio de Janeiro, (RJ) – On 14 February, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center –, welcomed COL Charles Orlianges, Military Attaché, with the French Embassy, followed by LT COL Pierre-Yves Dérangère, Security and Defense Cooperation Board Officer (Paris).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 12 February, in a ceremony conducted by General Rolemberg Ferreira da Cunha, Sub-Chief of Joint Chief of Staff Officer from Armed Forces, a Handover Ceremony was carried out at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center. On the occasion, CPT (Navy) Elder Vaz, CCOPAB Interim Commander, handed over the position of CCOPAB Commander to Engineering COL Márcio Carneiro Barbosa.
Rio de Janeiro, (RJ), – On 31 January, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center –, received the visit of Vice Admiral (Navy) Roberto Rossatto, who is responsible for managing Marine Corps career. The Vice Admiral was received by the Interim Commander of CCOPAB, CPT (Navy) Elder Vaz, and by the future Commander of CCOPAB, COL Márcio Carneiro Barbosa.
