Lima (Peru) - From October 7th to 11th, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), represented by its Commander, COL Marco Antônio Estevão Machado, as well as LT COL (Air Force) Rogério Ayres Vasconcellos (Doctrine Division Chief) and MAJ (Military Police) Alexandre Grevy Magacho Barcellos (Education and Training Division Instructor) participated in the 25th Annual Conference of the IAPTC, held in Lima, Peru.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From September 30th to October 04th, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, carried out the Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC). The target audience of this activity was captains/students at Armor Advanced Course School (EsAO, acronym in Portuguese), as well as police officers and civilians from the academia.
Santiago (Chile) – From September 22nd to October 05th of this year, 2nd SGT MARCUS VINÍCIUS MIRANDA PEDROZA DA SILVA, from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part in the tactical Civil-Military Coordination Course, that was carried out in the Chilean Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CECOPAC, acronym in Spanish), in the city of Santiago.
Buenos Aires (ARG) – From August 12 to 26, CPT Camila Paiva, CCOPAB trainer, took part in the preparation of the 54th Argentinian Task Force, which will be deployed in the UN peace mission in Cyprus (UNFCYP). The activity took place in the Argentinian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CAECOPAZ, acronym in Spanish), located in Mayo Camp, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Quito (Ecuador) – From 09 September to 24 of this year, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, sent a mobile training team to the city of Quito in Ecuador. The team provided training in Humanitarian Demining and Explosive Removal to the Ecuadorian Army, according to the minutes of the 10th Bilateral Conference of General Staff between the Brazilian and Ecuadorian Army.
Brasília (DF) – On October first and second, Ministry of Defense held Friendly Nations Defense Attaché Course in its facilities and also in the 1st Cavalry Regiment of Guard in Brasília. In total, 37 foreign attachés, distributed among 21 countries, participated in the event.
