Commanders and Joint Staff of the 26th Brazilian Contingent for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti conclude preparation at CCOPAB

After theoretical and practical activities, the Command and Joint Staff of the 26th Brazilian contingent for the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti concluded the second phase of the Unit Commanders and Joint Staff Course (EPCOEM), which was held from January 29 to February 03, at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).

The 26th Brazilian Contingent of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti, which is supposed to be deployed in the first semester of 2017, started the preparation with the course for Unit Commanders and Joint Staff Course (EPCOEM). The training, which is held by the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), aims to develop the important skills regarding the mission that commanders and staff will engage in Haiti under the aegis of the UN, such as: thoroughness, flexibility, responsibility and decision-making.

The Pedagogical Brush-up Course is the starting point of the instructional activities at CCOPAB

From 16 through 19 of January, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – CCOPAB - conducted the Pedagogical Brush-up Course (ESTAP, acronym in Portuguese), which aims to guide instructors through the educational and pedagogical procedures for 2017. The goal of the instructions was to show the teaching staff from this Center the updates regarding the teaching methodology, and as well as to standardize procedures related to various trainings of which this Joint Center is in charge.
