CCOPAB starts off the Preparation Course for Interviews of Brazilian Candidates to military posts at DPKO
On July 29, 2013, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) starts off the Preparation Course for Interviews of Brazilian Candidates to military posts at the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) at the auditorium of Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facilities. From 29 to 31 of July, the apprentices will undergo the course, whose objectives are to present them the organization, the missions and the work developed at CCOPAB, the peculiarities of the structure and the functioning of the United Nations (UN), the UN's personnel recruiting process, and also to train Brazilian military personnel from the three armed forces for the actual interviews.

In the morning of the third day of the Course on Protection of Civilians (POC), July 24, the apprentices began their activities with a lecture by Chilean journalist Jorge Canales concerning "Prevention and Response to Violence caused by Sexual Abuse".
During the second day of the Course on Protection of Civilians (POC) held at Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facilities, instructor Captain Crispim talked about "Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and the Consequences of Misconduct". After this presentation, it was the time of Major Herbert's lecture on the "Introduction to Protection of Civilians".
