Second day of the Course on POC
During the second day of the Course on Protection of Civilians (POC) held at Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facilities, instructor Captain Crispim talked about "Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and the Consequences of Misconduct". After this presentation, it was the time of Major Herbert's lecture on the "Introduction to Protection of Civilians". After that, Lieutenant Colonel Frachelle, from Uruguay, talked about "Legal and International Dimensions of the Protection of Civilians".
In the afternoon, Lieutenant Colonel Negreiros gave a lecture on the "Concept of Protection of Civilians in the Context of Peacekeeping Operations", and as the final instruction of the day, Major Homero, from Ecuador, worked on the subject "Guarantee of Protection of Civilians".
