Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On the morning of 02 March, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received 54 youngsters for the selection process to be in the compulsory military service 2015.
Col Vendramin, CCOPAB commander, welcomed the youngsters and listened to the their expectations when he asked questions about the Army. "I wish I could serve my country and improve as a citizen.", enthusiastically answered one young candidate.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 02 to 13 February, CCOPAB carried out the Subunit Commanders and Platoon Leaders Course (EPCOSUPEL, acronym in Portuguese) for CONTBRAS 22 to be deployed in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti.The aim of this course is to enable captains and lieutenants to carry their tasks out as Subunit commanders and Platoon leaders of the Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT), the Brazilian Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY) and the Brazilian Marine Corps (BRAMAR).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Last Friday morning, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the closing ceremony of the Course for UN Staff Officers and UN MILOBS. The course is divided into three phases: the first one is an e-learning phase, the second one is an on-site phase at the Center for Personnel Studies (CEP/FDC, acronym in Portuguese), and the third phase, also on-site, was carried out at CCOPAB from 02 to 06 February 2015.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – the Chief of the Department of International Policy and Planning from the UK Ministry of Defense, Air Commodore Nicholas (Nick) Bray, visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) on the afternoon of 29 January.Along with Air Commodore Nick, there were his assistant to issues regarding Brazil, Richard Holman, and the UK Defense Attaché in Brazil, Colonel Av Simon Hindmarsh.
