CCOPAB participates in the 22nd Conference of IAPTC

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - On 26 September, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) participated in the 22nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centers (IAPTC).The event, which takes place this year in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be held from 26 to 29 September and will have the participation of 55 countries and 197 attendees.The aim of the event is to promote training partnerships and contributions to strengthen the structures of the regional associations.

CCOPAB sends a Mobile Training Team to Namibia

Windhoek (Namibia) - The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) sent a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to Namibia, an African friendly nation. The cooperation was from 14 to 23 September and was accomplished in two phases with 24 students, among whom there were captains and senior officers.

CCOPAB carried out ETIMIL 2016.2

From 12 to 16 September, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the Military Translators and Interpreters Course (ETIMIL - 2nd phase - on-site) in order to prepare the military personnel, who have proficiency in French and English, to work in the Infantry Battalion (BRABAT) and in the Engineering Company (BRAENGCOY).

Mobile Training Team (MTT) from CCOPAB starts its work in Namibia

On the first day of the mission, the MTT was presented to Brigadier-General Nathinge, Chief of the International Relations from the Namibian Ministry of Defense.

At that opportunity, CCOPAB presented an institutional lecture and a summary of the activities to be carried out during the instruction international cooperation.

Captain Appolinário, Brazilian Defense Attaché and LTC Williams, Army Military Advisor, were present at this activity.

Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center promotes Gender Equality in the training of the 25th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 28 July, the Subunit Commanders and Platoon Leaders Course (EPCOSUPEL, acronym in Portuguese) ended at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The attendees were officers from the Brazilian Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) who will take part in BRABAT/BRAENGCOY 25.
