CCOPAB offers Mediation and Negotiation Day to PUC-Rio Students
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 17 November 2022, a Mediation and Negotiation Day, held at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), was offered to students of the International Relations Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (IRI/PUC-Rio).
The purpose of the activity was to update students on mediation and negotiation skills in the context of peace operations, by means of simulations and practical instructions. In addition, it was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds with the academic environment, since CCOPAB and IRI /PUC-Rio are full members of the Brazilian Peace Operations Research Network (REBRAPAZ).
Thirteen IRI/PUC-Rio students, followed by Dr. RICARDO OLIVEIRA DOS SANTOS - representative of IRI/PUC-Rio at REBRAPAZ - as well as Ms. MARIA EDUARDA LOPES DA SILVA SANTOS and Ms. SOPHIA MATOS DO AMARAL MARTINS, research volunteers at CCOPAB, attended the event.
