Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 15 June 2023, the Coordination for Evaluation and Development of the Army Higher Military Education (CADESM), from the Army Department of Education and Culture (DECEx), delivered a lecture on Mario Travassos Project, at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center.

CCOPAB takes part in a seminar to celebrate the International Day of UN Peacekeepers in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 14 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) participated in the Seminar “The Brazilian contributions to UN Peace Operations in the 21st Century", organized by the Brazilian Research Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ), by the Eastern Military Command (CML) and by the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rio de Janeiro (ERERIO), as part of of the celebrations of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, of 29 May 2023.

CCOPAB commander participates in the Annual Conference of the European Association of Peace Operations Training Centres

Brussels (Belgium) – From 7 to 9 June 2023, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a guest, in the Annual Conference of the European Association of Peace Operations Training Centers (EAPTC), organized by the European Security and Defense College (ESDC).

CCOPAB ends another edition of the UN Protection of Civilians Course

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 29 May to 07 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UNPOC), aiming at preparing military and police personnel to hold positions regarding the Protection of Civilians system, within the scope of the United Nations peacekeeping operations (UNPKOs).

CCOPAB receives a visit of a delegation from the War College of Mexico

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 7 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received a visit of a delegation from the War College of Mexico, composed of its Director, Colonel JOSÉ LUIS GARCÍA ROSAS, two instructors, and 60 officers - students of the War College. Also, the Air and Military Attaché of Mexico in Brazil, Major General ALEJANDRO ALCÁNTARA ÁVILA, and other two military personnel from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense came along with the delegation.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – No dia 07 de junho de 2023, o Capitão LUCAS BASTOS DE SOUZA, Instrutor do Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB), proferiu uma palestra sobre o tema “Preparação de Contingentes para a Operação Acolhida”, atendendo a uma solicitação do Instituto Meira Mattos (IMM), da Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exército (ECEME).
